$60,000 depreciation in 3 years…
I’m part of several car groups on Facebook, and I don’t get why people are so excited about buying new cars and showing them off.
Sure, the new car smell is nice, but there’s not much else that makes them special. Some might say that selling expensive cars with a rebuilt title is harder, and maybe that’s true. But why not look for a lightly used one and save a lot of $?
For example, I checked wholesale auction prices for a 2023 BMW M4 Comp X Drive, and the average price is $75,000—that’s a $47,000 discount!

You won’t be able to register this car in the US, but it’s an excellent option for export.
$25 Deal
2003 Ford Expedition sold at Copart for $25!
Minor dent/scratches, no run and drive condition. This car may need repairs, but it’s still an awesome deal!
$80 deal
2010 Volkswagen CC sold at Copart for $80.
Flood damage, won’t start. You could sell it for parts or rebuild it, but you can’t go wrong with $80 for a car! What a DEAL!
$100 deal
2011 Mercedes-Benz R-Class sold at IAAI for $100.
Impossible, right?! Well, great deal happens daily!
